Spengler Nathanson Wins Cases for Local School Districts
In addition to the toxic tort action described below, Spengler Nathanson has received notice of several other victories for local school districts in tort litigation. Summary judgment was granted by the Williams County Common Pleas Court in favor of the Bryan City Schools in a premises liability action involving serious personal injury which occurred in its bus garage. The Wood County Common Pleas Court recently dismissed action brought by a student and her guardian which arose out of a fire at a Fostoria school building. And, the Marion County Common Pleas Court dismissed claims against the Marion School District related to the alleged sexual abuse of a former student by a former teacher. Teresa Grigsby represented the school districts in each of these cases.
